CAT and KITTEN FOOD
Flint River Ranch's Cat & Kitten food is a chicken and lamb meal formula that is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures, resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your kitty. Protein is the most important ingredient in a cat's diet, and the amino acids provided by the Chicken and Lamb Meal are the basic building blocks of your cat's muscle, skin, coat, bone, blood and immune system. The high quality Chicken Meal provides Taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, in much higher levels that poultry by-products, which are often found in most other cat foods. Taurine is an important element for eye, heart, nervous and reproductive system health. Flint River Ranch's fat source contains no Ethoxyquin and is naturally preserved by Vitamin E. Further, low ash and magnesium are important in the prevention of FUS (Feline Urinary Syndrome). Flint River Ranch's Feline Formulas have less than 4.5% ash content and 0.07% of Magnesium. These promote low urinary PH and help prevent FUS.

Cat & Kitten Food
There is ample scientific evidence that proper nutrition and correct eating habits can enhance health, performance and longevity. We are starting to understand that the over processing and chemical additives which add color and texture can destroy much of the nutritional value of both people food and pet food.
The Chicken and Lamb Meal formula is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures - resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your pet. The secret to Flint River Ranch's great nutrition is how many nutrients are present in the cat's food and how efficiently they are utilized when digested. High digestibility means your pet requires less food and produces smaller, firmer stools and less clean-up.
PROTEIN
The amino acids provided by the Chicken and Lamb Meal are the basic building blocks of muscle, skin, coat, bone, blood and the immune system. The most important ingredient in a cat's diet is protein.
ESSENTIAL TAURINE
The high quality Chicken Meal provides Taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, at much higher levels than the poultry by-products used in most cat foods. It is important for eyes, heart, nervous and reproductive systems.
FATS
The Fat Source has no Ethoxyquin. It is naturally preserved with Vitamin E. Fats provide energy and include essentials for cell structure, hormones, enzymes and fat soluble vitamins.
FELINE UROLOGICAL SYNDROME
There is little doubt that F.U.S. is directly related to the cat's stress, life style and diet. Low Ash and Magnesium are important in the prevention of FUS. FLINT RIVER RANCH Feline Formula has less than 5.5% ash content and 0.095% of Magnesium. This promotes low urinary pH and helps prevent FUS.
The Flint River Ranch cat food is extruded with the addition of a slight "baking" process to give it the crusty texture. Cat food is higher in price because there is more pure meat protein in cat food. Taurine level is not less than 0. 1 % - pH is below 6.4 - Magnesium is less than 0.095% - ash is less than 5.5% - all important to help prevent Feline Urological Syndrome. We feel that providing distilled or pure water in the cat's water dish is a must if you have a concern for your kitty.
The Flint River Ranch Original Cat Food formula for kittens and cats has been scientifically developed to promote the health and vitality for cats of all breeds, sizes and ages, including the following breeds:

FELINE FEEDING
Cats are finicky eaters. Our tests show that besides flavor and aroma, texture and shape are very important in determining cat food palatability. Cats first smell their food; if it passes this test, shape then becomes important because it determines the way it feels and breaks apart in the cat's mouth. Fresh water should be available at all times as your cat will drink more water when fed dry food.
Young kittens may be started on Flint River Ranch food by mixing with a little warm water. Feed food dry as soon as the kittens teeth are strong enough to chew hard food (8 to 10 weeks). Feed kittens about 3 times a day - after 6 months twice a day.
Adult cats (1 year) can be fed once or twice a day; whatever keeps your cat happy. Your cat should be looking for food when the next meal is due. Teach them to eat at meal times. The amount your cat eats in 15-20 minutes is about the amount they should be fed at that meal. Adjust the food as you notice increase or decrease in the animal's weight.

and correct eating habits can enhance health, performance and longevity.
We are starting to understand that the over-processing and chemical
additives that add color and texture can destroy much of the nutritional
value of both people food and pet food.
Today, the choice of a nutritionally superior food for
pets should be based on an informed understanding and appreciation of
ingredient quality and product formulation.
At FLINT RIVER RANCH, We feel your cat is worth it!
PROTEIN: The amino acids provided by
the Chicken and Lamb Meal is the basic building blocks of muscle, skin,
coat, bone, blood and the immune system. The most important ingredient
in a cat's diet is protein. We guarantee protein analysis of not less
than 32%.
The Chicken and Lamb Meal formula is manufactured under
carefully controlled conditions and temperatures - resulting in better
nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your pet. The secret to
good nutrition is not how many nutrients are present in a cat's food,
but rather, how available they are and how efficiently they can be utilized
when digested. High digestibility means your pet requires less food
and produces smaller, firmer stools and less clean-up.
Our Chicken Meal and other meat sources do not contain
poultry by-products or other byproducts like chicken feet, chicken heads,
duck beaks, feathers, hides, hoofs and intestines. The use of low quality
products and chemical preservatives may be associated with dry skin,
allergic reactions, dental disease, poor health and degenerative organ
dysfunction.
Beet pulp is by far the best source of fiber. It does
a better job of moving the nutrients through the digestive systems and
acts as a calming base for forming the stool in the colon. Vitamins,
minerals and nutrients are first digested in the stomach - then absorbed
into the blood through the intestinal walls. If those walls are covered
with slime/mucus absorption of these life-sustaining nutrients is reduced.
Beet pulp gently massages intestinal walls, removing the mucus and aids
in the bowel movement.
RIGHT A WAY YOU'LL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE!
ESSENTIAL TAURINE: The high quality
Chicken Meal provides Taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, at
much higher levels than the poultry by-products used in most cat foods.
It is important for eyes, heart, nervous, and reproductive systems.
FATS: The human grade Fat Source has
no Ethoxyquin. It is naturally preserved with Vitamin E. Fats provide
energy and include essentials for cell structure, hormones, enzymes
and fat-soluble vitamins. FLINT RIVER RANCH guarantees not less than
20% crude fat.
HIGHER DIGESTIBILITY MORE USABLE ENERGY LESS COST
TO FEED
FELINE UROLOGICAL SYNDROME: There is
little doubt that F.U.S. is directly related to the eat's life style
and diet. Low Ash and Magnesium are important in the prevention of F.U.S.

The price of cat food, like other products, most often
depends on the grade and quality. FLINT RIVER RANCH cat food will actually
be cheaper to feed than other foods costing less. You will be able to
see the difference in your cat's healthy skin, coat and energy level.
Healthy nutrition can also mean less medical bills. We believe your
cat deserves the best possible food and health.
Fresh water should be available at all times as your cat
will drink more water when fed dry food. Super Premium foods should
be introduced by mixing with your cat's regular dry food with increasing
amounts over several days.
Young kittens may be started on Flint River Ranch by mixing
